I’ve been seeing Marc for
about the last 5 years regularly. I have always had excellent massages from him.
He is very intuitive about the state of my body, and he always knows just how
far he can stretch/knead/bend me so that I get the full benefit of the massage.
He is an extremely caring person, and the atmosphere he provides for the massage
(table, music, oils, etc.) is really special. When I went to see Marc, I knew
that for 90 minutes, I was going to be taken care of and provided a valuable
service that not only felt good, but was good for me.
Chicago: you may be the Second

Marc is the
best, most professional massage therapist I have ever experienced, bar none. I

I first learned of Marc
through a friend who recommended him to me, particularly because his technique
was vigorous but careful. My friend (and I) had experienced too many “wimpy”
massages where you hardly knew that you had been massaged. At the time, I was a
38-year-old man who worked out regularly and was in pretty good shape. However,
I had a history of injuries (lower back and shoulder), so I was VERY cautious
about who I let work on me and what they did. (I once had a physical therapist
re-injure my shoulder, so I am skeptical to the extreme.)
The first time I went to see
Marc, he demonstrated that he was extremely knowledgeable and sensitive. We
talked about my injuries, and he made sure that he avoided stressing the areas
that were sensitive. Even so, he really worked the areas that were healthy, and
I left the session feeling like a wet noodle … and I mean that in the good sense
of the word. I slithered home, slept soundly and awoke the next day with that
vibrant feeling that a good, vigorous massage gives you. I was sold!

I've tried many masseurs in New York, from
magazine ads, internet sites, and recommendations from doctors and friends over
the years. Marc is simply the best. His technique is very strong, but he will
not make you uncomfortable. Rather, for the first time, I felt like I was
getting a serious massage, hitting all the right spots (he asked about problem
areas and worked on them). Much more than my money's worth. Marc works hard. In
addition, he was concerned about creating a warm, relaxing atmosphere - played
excellent music, did not take calls during the session (as too many masseurs do
on their damn cell phones), and he spoke very gently. The picture on this site
doesn't do him justice. He's intelligent, well-read, considerate, and has a
great sense of humor, and went out of his way to accommodate my requested time
despite short notice. I cannot recommend his excellent work highly enough. You
will never find a better masseur and I will never go to anyone else.

I used to be a professional
dancer, was on Broadway in Cats for years. Now I choreograph and travel all the
time. So I am always sore and what often gets me through the week is knowing I
can come home to Marc who will come over with his table before I go to bed and make me feel all better and 25 years old again.
And sometimes when I need to get through a rough moment I close my eyes and
imagine Marc massaging me and really I feel better just thinking about this.
